Xenly uses only what it needs to work. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics. That is why you do not see a cookie banner: the law only asks for one when a site wants to use cookies that are not strictly necessary.
The one cookie we set
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| xenly_refresh | Keeps you signed in, so you do not have to type your password every time. It can only be read by our server, never by a page or a script. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
Things your browser remembers for you
A few small settings are saved in your browser, on your device only. They never leave it.
- Whether the sound is on or off in your child’s games.
- Cards you have closed, such as the tip about adding Xenly to your home screen.
Payments
When you choose a plan, you pay on Stripe’s own page. When you change your card in Settings, Stripe’s secure card form opens on our page. In both cases Stripe may set its own cookies to help stop fraud. Those are strictly necessary for taking a payment safely. Stripe explains them in its own cookie policy.
