Xenly for schools and tuition centres

Xenly gives each child their own planet and the same calm practice they would have at home. For a school or tuition centre, it adds classes, tutors and a simple seat for each child.
How it works in a group
- Read together: a grown-up sits with a child, the child reads alien words aloud, and the grown-up taps any sound that needed a second go. This is how a new creature grows.
- Play on my own: children can also practise alone with listening games that mark themselves. Solo play wakes sleepy creatures and earns sound stars, but it never grows a new creature.
- Classes and tutors: each tutor sees only the children in their own classes.
- Levels: every child works through Xenly Levels 1 to 8, which follow the Letters and Sounds phases.
What you see
- A class view with each child’s level and how many creatures are sleepy.
- A list you can download with each child’s first name, class and level.
- Parent invitations, so a family can follow their own child at home and see only that child.
What we never do
- No leaderboards, no rankings and no comparing one child with another.
- No recordings: nothing a child says is ever recorded or uploaded.
- No surnames, dates of birth or photos. We keep a first name, a school year and the learning.
Xenly follows the ICO’s Children’s Code. Our privacy notice explains what we keep.
Seats and price
Organisations pay for a seat for each child, for a year, by invoice. Prices are between £15 and £25 a child a year, depending on how many children join. The minimum is 20 children. We agree the details with each school or tuition centre.
Try it with one class
We are happy to start with a pilot: one class for a term, with a short check-in with you halfway through. Write to support@xenly.co.uk and tell us about your setting.
